Excursion tour to France, for New Year : New Year in Nice

We leave in the morning of December 29, enjoying the views of Germany and France, stories about the towns and castles we meet, and fun contests along the way. Overnight in a hotel near Lyon (Macon).

December 30 c morning we will go on a tour of Lyon, the favorite residence of Roman emperors, the birthplace of Caracalla and Claudius. By lunch we drive towards Avignon. Through the gates of the fortress wall we enter the old city - the residence of the Pope in the XIV century. In front of the luxurious Papal Palace and the Cathedral we listen to medieval legends. After the tour we transfer to Nice and stay at the hotel for 3 nights.

Wake up on December 31 in Nice - what could be more pleasant! In the morning we will visit the famous Cannes: we will walk along the staircase of the Palais des Film Festivals, the Croisette, take pictures against the background of luxurious hotels, villas, palaces…. The second half of the day is devoted to Nice: a guided walk along the famous Promenade Des Anglais and Boulevard des Empresses, the old market square, a look at the city and the bay from the marvelous hills (aristocratic villas, hotels, gardens, cathedrals, museums). And we invite you to celebrate New Year's Eve in a restaurant in Nice. Cost and menu will be known later. Participation is optional.

January 01: Those who wish can go to the land of millionaires - the Principality of Monaco. A tour of the mini-country will reveal palace secrets: one visit to the Princely Palace of Grimaldi is worth it! The famous casino awaits the gamblers after a tour of Monte Carlo. Return to your hotel in Nice.

January 2: Goodbye Nice, Italy is ahead! We will visit the famous San Remo (sea, songs, cappuccino - a program for every taste). And then we will go to Austria, where we will stay overnight in a hotel.

On January 3 we come back home late in the evening.
